This is a one-week design challenge revolved around 'VISIONS OF SMART MOBILITY IN 2025'. During the project, team members from four different design schools closely collaborated on a last-mile mobility solution for future citizens. With team effort, we brought up the design from zero to concept level.

The future city will be functional and human-friendly, where citizens enjoy full convenience and flexibility

Individuals including people at different ages and less-abled

In future, the merging technology will facilitate the development of IoT product and smart product. People will end to use clean energy.

Social context
The future society will be an elderly-friendly context due to the declining population growth rate.

Future urban mobility should offer more convenience to individual users.

The product should be safe to use and environmental-friendly.
Human-centred
The product should be easy to operate. Also, it should bring smooth interacting experience to users.
City-oriented
The product should fit the future city transportation scenarios, fulfil the limitations on space and speed.

Final Design

Inspired by the shape of the Greek letter'δ',
we created 'δwan', a hover scooter for personal transportation.
With limited space occupation, flexible movement, and simple operation, δwan will maximize the last mile's convenience.
